Uncovered Bloggers
So, a little bit about me: My name is Heather, I have lived in Toronto for over 8 years, I am fairly opinionated, and I love finding new things to do in the city. I intend to use this blog as a platform to share my experiences (good and bad), and to dialogue with my fellow 416-ers. From time to time, I may go off on tangents (some might call them rants) but promise they will always be entertaining and possibly even informative.
I am a horrible liar. In the effort of transparency, my posts will always speak the honest truth (even when it hurts). Feel free to challenge me on any points of disagreement (I love a good debate), or offer suggestion and/or input.
I am also a regular contributor to BlogCampaigning, covering topics on Social Media, Technology, Marketing and PR.
You can reach me on Twitter @hmorrison, via email at hmorrison@torontouncovered.com or through my personal site heathermorrison.ca
Enjoy!

I’m that old cliché, a small town girl trying to make it in the big city. I’ve been living in Toronto for around six years now but I spent my awkward childhood and rebellious adolescence in the tri-city area (Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge). Moving to Toronto was the best decision I’ve ever made. There is so much opportunity in this city not to mention an abundance of restaurants to eat at, bars to drink in and a myriad of events to attend. I fell in love with this city when I moved downtown, opened my window for the first time that one summer and heard the flamenco of an acoustic guitar playing busker float up to greet me.
Regardless of this or that jobs, writing has always been my passion and in this city I’m never without inspiration for long. I’m currently taking a hiatus from university but I do plan to return at some point in the future.
I’ve recently said goodbye to Facebook and hello to Twitter (@ATaleOfToronto). It was nothing personal Facebook, I just think Twitter has less baggage and that’s what I’m really looking for right now. I also write for my own blog, but unlike Toronto Uncovered, which is filled with interesting articles, my blog essentially just serves as an attempt to avoid writer’s block.

Hey there. Ive been living in Toronto for a little over 4 years now and it’s been pretty good to me. I am originally from Montreal and after spending some time here I have to say that there are some stark differences between the two cities. It took me some time to adjust to Toronto life, but I’m now glad to call this city my new home. A little while ago Heather approached me and asked that I use my professional experiences as a platform to share my thoughts about sustainability design, strategies and products specific to this city in her blog. I’m happy to accept this challenge! I hope that you find my articles interesting and I promise to do my best to entertain and inform you on the latest topics that surround sustainability in this city.

I hope you’re getting a lot of traffic.
